CM Herc-alloy 800/1000 Chain Wear Gauge
This grade 80 and grade 100 wear gauge is only for use on Columbus Mckinnon HA-800 and HA-1000 Herc-Alloy Chain. If gauge fits over chain diameter - it is worn below minimum and not to be used. While chain can wear anywhere on the link, most common wear is in the bearing points of the links where the chain links interlock.
In addition, chain also needs to be checked visually for other defects such as crushed, bent, welded, nicked, heat affected, or stretched links that the wear gauge can not detect.
