Lifting clutches are a specifically designed component made of high quality steel, that has a ball shaped claw that hooks under the head of a concrete anchor. The special design of the clutch ensures a tight and safe connection to the anchor, and the shackle fits perfectly the hemispherical recess created at the time of casting the concrete by the Starcon recess former. Every spherical lifting clutch is individually tested to twice the safe working load and is supplied with a unique identity number.The lifting clutch, recess former and anchor only correspond when they are from the same load group which is indicated on every lifting clutch.
