Newco Hawser Thimbles are cast steel and hot dipped galvanized and are suitable for wire rope and high performace synthetic ropes. The have a smooth and even groove, and provide maximun wear and crush resistance. These thimbles have a large opening dimension, making them suitable to accept larger hooks and shackles.
