KNOB&KNOB DWARF CHOKER
5/8 inch PowerStrand Knob & Knob Logging Choker x 14 FT
Commonly used in yarding operations because of their longer life due to knob reversibility. When used with line skidders, these knob & knob chokers are connected to the mainline with a L-982 Heavy Duty Dwarf Twitch Hook.
Capacity of 5,500 lbs. is maximum line tension in pounds. It is not based on the weight of the log, but the maximum pulling force the choker can be subjected to as log is being skidded. Factors such as terain slope, shock loading, and snags must be taken into account when selecting size.
All of our chokers are made in our plant using quality products.
Skidding chokers feature a knob on each end with a L-320 Dwarf (Light Bantam) Choker Hook in the middle.
