5/8 inch Black Shock Cord

Nova Shock is our premium grade shock cord. Unlike hardware variety shock cord, Nova Shock is braided with color fast solution dyed polyester cover yarns for superior protection against abrasion and ultra-violet light. The core is comprised of parallel strands of round latex rubber yielding 85% to 100% elongation and recovery even after exposure to freezing conditions.

Features & Benefits:  Abrasion resistance, UV stabilized cover yarns, 

Elongation at force  20% - 33 pounds, 50% - 47 pounds, 80% - 64 pounds & 100% - 76 pounds

Average breaking strength 660 pounds
