5/16 Inch Twist Link Cross Chain

Procraft regular twist link is a good all round chain for tire chain applications. It is machine resistance welded (not flash welded) to produce superior weld strength. Cross chain is then hardened for abrasion resistance and durability.

Unlike others that paint or zinc plate the cross chain to hide or fill in flaws and improve appearance, Procraft cross chain ungoes a tumbling/polishing process after hardening to remove all slag and weld trimmings to give inspectors clear view of chain to inspect for weld integrity and steel porosity. A clear laquer coat is then applied, cut to 50 feet, and bagged.
