The design and specification of the ProCraft AKT lever hoist includes:

- Very robust with a superior light weight design, and a short handle.
- Load drop protection in free wheeling operation
- Grade 80 zinc plated load chain
- Easy handling with low physical effort required on the handle
- Heavy duty latches, with inspectable hooks
- Each hoist proof load tested to 1.5 times the working load limit
